DIY : Paper Butterflies

Me cuesta un poco pensar en la primavera con el frío que esta empezando a hacer acá... pero con tantas cosas primaverales que empiezo a ver en los blogs me tente de hacer un post primaveral!

It's quite hard to think in spring when here is getting so cold!! but with some many flowers and butterflies around the blogs I wanted to make something spring (:

Estas mariposas las hice el año pasado para la escenografía de una obra de teatro que tuvimos que hacer en la escuela, y ya que estaba aproveché para hacer un tutorial! Super sencillo y poquisimos materiales (:

I make this butterflies last year to decorate a scenery of a school play! they where so simple to made and with really few materials that I decided to make a tutorial out of it!

1. Cortar la silueta de la mariposa en un cartulina doblada en dos

2. Definir que se va a pintar de negro

3. Pintar

4. Agregar detalles con corrector líquido, esto realmente hace la diferencia!

1. Cut the silhoutte of the butterfly in a folded cardstock.

2. Define what you want to be painted in black.

3. Painted

4. Add some white details with a correction pen, this really make the difference!!

Ta-ra!! mariposas de colores! perfectas para decorar una pared, o un aula o una vitrina (:

Acá les dejo el moldecito para que hagan las suyas!

Voila! Super easy and colorful butterflies! They can be use to decorate an empty wall, a classroom, or even a shopwindow!

Hola!! Hoy hice una tarjeta bastante diferente a las que hago siempre, hice una flor grande con papel cedita y unas maripositas con papel aluminio. Como termine la tarjeta tarde tome la foto adentro de casa y le puse en el fondo un cuadro que termine hace poco. Es una playa y lo hice al óleo. Acá les dejo las fotos:

Hi! Today I did a quite different card for the ones I always do, I made a big pink flower with paper and some little butterflis with aluminium foil. I finished the card late at night so I decided to takes the photos indoor, and guest what a put like background!? a painting a finished a few weeks ago! doesn´t it looks like a beach (: ?

The spring fairy

Hola! no puedo creer que recien escribo este post después de 1 semana!! mucha tarea y cosas que hacer ultimamente.... y diría que estas tarjetas tampoco fueron las mejores que hice.... En fin esta tarjeta la hice con una "imagen" (ya saben porque lo pongo entre comillas :P media imagen y medio dibujado por mi jeje) que recien salió en abril (pueden creer que estamos en Mayo!!?) y corte con la cricut la palabra LOVE y a los costados le puse unas mariposas que corte con unos punch.

Hello! I can believe that i finally editing this post! lol... to much homework recently... I think this 2 cards are not my best.... but at least i could do something! lol. This card I made it we a new image ( well from April, and now we are in May! can you believe it!!?) then I cut with my cricut the world -love- and some butterflies with a punch.

I try to take my photos with white background but it look blue :P lol
Intente tomas las fotos con el fondo blanco pero salieron medias azuladas :P

Kit cards con cajita (:

Hola!! hoy traigo un kit de tarjetas con cajita incluida :D , lo hice para el reto de Magda, con cada uno de sus retos sumas puntos para el sorteo de la Slice!
La cajita la recicle de una que me regalaron en el cine con caramelos, me pareció que le iba perfecto para las tarjetas ya que tiene como una ventanita y se puede ver lo de adentro!

Hi! Today I made a kit of cards with a box maching them, I made the it for the Magda challenge,
taking part her challenge with you more opportunities to win the Slice she is giving away.
The box I recycle for one I was given with candies in the cinema, I thought I will be perfect because it has a little windows where you can see the cards (:

Como era blanca simplemente le pegue un papel rosa y una cinta amarilla que corte con un cortante

En total son 6 tarjetas pero hice 3 diseños:

Hi! bad news : I dont have holidays anymore.... until summer ....(well... is not a -new- because i know this will happen lol but it still bad :P lol ) buy I can still make cards! lol Here is the card I make this weekend. See the lightblue in the background, that is bad BAD whithe balance... but I like it :D lol This crochet flower was made by my mom! ty mom!

Hola!! Malas noticias: no tengo vacaciones hasta el verano.... (bueno en realidad no es una -noticia- porque sabia que se iban a acabar pero si es malo :P jaja) bueno por ahora puedo seguir haciendo tarjetas hasta que se me vengan todos los examenes encima jaja. Pueden creer, esta semana me gane un blog candy que hizo Magda en su blog y no me enteré!!! y tan lindo que es!!! Mi compu ya esta mejor (: se curo solita!!

It was a long time since my last card with an image! here is one from the Greeting Farm, really summery!! , (today in Neuquén was -8º C!! imagine...lol)
Hace bastante tiempo que no hacía una tarjeta con dibujo! así que hoy me dicidí a hacer una, uso una image de The Greeting Farm, muy verianega por cierto jaja (hoy hice -8º C!! en Neuquén, se congelo todo!! jaja)

I added some butterflies that I cut with my Cricut (the design if from Martha Stewart- Monarch Butterfly) Doesn´t it look similar? (:
A ver adivinen, las mariposas son cortante o Cricut? mmm dificil... es mi Cricut!! pero lo hice con el diseño del cortante de Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly, Martha tu diseño esta hermoso, tanto que me lo copie para mi Cricut, gracias! jaja
