Happy Birthday Card / Tarjeta de Feliz cumpleaños

Hi!! this card I made for a friend, she loves doughnuts! so I made one in polymer clay (the process is really similar to the buttons one)

At first I wanted to add a pattern paper at the back but the doily didnt "pop up" so I decided to use only the brown background of the card

I added some jewels stickers around the doily and wrote -Happy Birthday- with the alpha sticker I made in this post

Hola!! y Feliz día del padre!! acá vengo a mostrarles la tarjeta que le hice a mi papá:

Es super simple pero me pareció super tierna jaja para los anteojos perfore toda la tarjeta entonces quedaron transparentes de verdad y ademas le puse un acetato!!

Is quite simple, but I think is super cute!! for the glasses I cut the pattern paper and the card! and I added acetate in the back so as they look real (:

Hi! Today I bring another tutorial! more handmade embellishment!

Hola!! Hoy traigo otro tutorial! y es de embellishment!

Some time ago many people ask me about the button I made on this card, so now I decided to make a tutorial on how to make it.

Hace un tiempo atrás hice una tarjeta (iba a poner el link pero saque las fotos porque la van a poner en una revista <-- toda una historia a parte que ya les contaré jaja) En fin, la tarjeta tenía un botón hecho a mano, y varias de ustedes me preguntaron como hacerlo así que decidí hacer un pequeño tutorial explicandolo!

The process is really simple, you will need:

Es muy muy simple, los materiales que van a necesitar son:

Maicena (almidón de maiz), un palito de amazar, una boquilla o cualquier cortante chiquito que tengan, una aguja y porcelana fría.

First take the icing nozzle (a small cookie cutter will work to, you can make it of any shape you want) and pass it throught the cornstarch, in this way it wont stick in the polymer clay:

Primero pasen la boquilla o el cortante por la maicena así no se pega en la porcelana a la hora de cortarlo, después simplemente lo cortan.

Now just cut the circle in the polymer clay and made two holes (or four) with a needle. Let it dry and the painted with acrylic paint. Now you have a beautiful handmade button!!

Y seguido de esto le hacen los dos agujeritos (o si quieren 4) con la aguja.
Lo dejan secar y luego lo pintan con acrílico de la manera que quieran! no es super simple!?

As you can see is really really simple! and there are so many possibilities! I like to have white one so as when scrapbooking I painted of the color I need in the moment, they are really handy!

Hay muchísimas posibilidades! A mi me gusta tener botones en blanco así cuando estoy haciendo algún LO o alguna tarjeta lo pinto del color que necesito en el momento! son super prácticos y te sacan del apuro jaja!

DIY: How To Make your own Alpha Stickers

Estoy muy emocionada por este post, porque lo vengo pensando hace un montón y finalmente lo pude realizar y poner todo junto para compartirlo con ustedes!

I am really excited about the post of today, because I have been thinking this for a long while and finally I put all my ideas together to share to you this great project!

Así que esa fue la idea básica de todo: poder hacer mis propios stickers de letritas, he visto que lo usan para todooo y más que todo en los LO de Scrapbooking ya que son super prácticos, como ya sabrán donde vivo no venden nada de esto... Así que usando un poco el ingenio pensé que no sería tan dificil recrear los mios!

So this is the basic idea: Make your own Alpha Stickers! arent you excited know? lol I have this that this tiny stickers are useful for so many things!! and mostly scrapbooking! As you may know where I live dont sell any of this things... so with a bit wit a figured out how to make my owns!

La idea es muy sencilla, cree una tabla en Power Point (creo que es mejor hacerlo en Word, yo lo hice en este programa porque la idea inicial era diferente...) y llene cada casillero con letras, muy fácil, vieron? (:

The idea is pretty simple, I created a table in PowerPoint (you can do it in Word if you want) and I filled every gap with a letter, easy peasy, dont you think?

Aunque es muy sencillo decidí hacerles un pequeño tutorial paso a paso para que no quede ninguna duda:

Creamos un Documento en Power Point, y ponemos vertical la hoja
Vamos a Configuracion Página -> A4 (o el tamaño que quieran)
Insertar Tabla
Como la tabla más grande que podemos insertar es muy chiquita para lo que queremos, vamos a tener que hacer Click Derecho -> Insertar Columna, así hasta obtener la cantidad deseada
Una vez lista la tabla se tiene que ver parecido a la imagen 5
Pintamos de los colores que queramos que sean nuestros stickers
Completamos con las letras (: (fijense que todos los casilleros de los bordes ni los pinte ni le puse letras, porque esas van a ser las guías para cortar después)
Seleccionamos con el mouse donde tenemos las letras (el margen no) y le quitamos las lineas de adentro (Diseño -> Sin Borde)

Create a Power Point Document, and remember to flip the page so as to be vertical
and we also resize the page to an A4 one
Insert a Table
As the biggest table we can insert is really small for what we need, we have to add colums with by one doing right-click
Your table should look something like the one in number 5
Fill the gaps with the colors you want
Now fill it with letter (: (leave the borders collumns blank as you see in the photo, because is going to be use for cutting later...)
Finally, we get rid of the borders, just the one that contains letters

Ya esta listo para imprimir! Yo lo imprimí en papel autoadhesivo sin divisiones A4 (es común yo lo conseguí en la librería) o sino pueden mandarlo a imprimir a una casa de impresión y le dicen que es para stickers así se lo hacen en papel autoadhesivo (:

Así quedó mi plancha de stickers una vez impresa:
