Knitted Bunny from a square

I knit something.

No, is not a scarf!

But is I-only-make-scraf-person friendly!

Because.... this little bunny is made out of a square!!

I saw the tutorial on Pinterest and I though it was genious!!
Tejí algo.
No, no es una bufanda!
Pero es para el tipo de personas que solo tejen bufandas :) porque este pequeño conejito aunque no lo crean esta hecho de un cuadrado!
Ví el tutorial en Pinterest y la idea me pareció brillante!

You will need: some whool, wadding, and a knitted square.
Para hacerlo van a necesitar: lana, un cuadrado tejido, bellon/guata, una aguja para lana y 2 mostacillas negras para los ojos

Once you knitted the square, with a needle pass a piece of wool like the picture show, and then pull from in it, and add the wadding.
Una vez que hayan tejido el cuadrado, pasen la aguja con la lana como indica el dibujo, y cuando ya la hayan pasado todo, tiren de la punta y antes de que se cierre por completo rellenenlo con el bellón.

Then stuff the body, and close it with the needle and some wool. Finally make a pompom for the tail , I used a pompom maker but you can make as you want...
Ahora hay que rellenar lo que sería el cuerpo del conejito; luego de esto lo van cerrando con la aguja y la lana. Para terminar, hagan un pompom para la cola, yo lo hice con este aparatito para hacer pompones, pero lo pueden hacer con el cartoncito o como sepan hacerlo...

Add to black beads for the eyes, and you are done!!

Le agregan los ojos y siquieren la nariz, y estan hechos!!

I can post like ten more photo of this bunny, it is so photogenic!! Perfect to make a nice handmade gift to kids or to make some to donate to charity becuase the costs are really low, and is really fast to make!

Es super facil y rápido; y creo que haría un regalo super tierno para algun niño! (o adulto?...)

Cruzaron la cordillera/ Crossing the Andes - Chile

Todas las pascuas desde hace unos años vamos a Chile a pasear unos días, (así como casi todo Neuquén hace, formando unas hermosas kilométricas filas en la aduana). En fin, este año yo estando en Buenos Aires, quedaba muy lejos ir a Chile. Así que aprovechamos estos días de calor para refugiarnos en la montaña y tomar un poco de frío y cumplir con nuestro viaje anual a la cordillera...

Every Easter with travel to Chile (Neuquén is in the frontier with Chile). But this year, because I was in Buenos Aires, the trip would have been way too long... so we prefered not to go. However, during this extremely hot days here in Neuquén we decided to cross the Andes looking for some cold weather where to stay some days (:

Salimos temprano de Neuquén, el viaje dura más o menos 6 horas; a eso del medio día ya estabamos en Villa la Angostura. Y a las 2 llegamos a Osorno, donde almorzarmos y seguimos camino hacia Puerto Montt.

We leave early from Neuquén, the road trip is only 6 hours, at 12pm we were in Villa la Angostura and by the 2pm we were having lunch at Osorno to keep trip to Puerto Montt.

Son solo 6 horas, donde el paisaje cambia dastricamente de yuyos y básicamente solo desierto con un sol matador; a árboles, vaquitas y mucho mucho verde; pero siempre nublado.

In only 6 hours the landscape make a dramatic change, from almost just dessert in the argentinian side and a killing sun, as soon we cross the Andes, we find lot of green and trees everywhere, but always cloudy

Nos quedamos tres días en Puerto Montt y uno de los días decidimos ir a Puerto Varas que es el pueblo que esta pegado. Fuimos a pasear un poco pero especialmente fuimos a almorzar a "La Olla", un restaurante bastante lugareño que sirven todo tipo de mariscos y pescados!

We stay three days in Puerto Montt, one of those we went to Puerto Varas, wich is the town that is next to Puerto Montt, we walk around the town center, and then with went to our favorite restaurant so far "La Olla", is not made for tourist at all, and we love that! because is kind of an "auntentic local restaurant", here is like the paradise of seefood!

5 things I learnt in 5 years of Blogging

El tiempo se pasa volando y resulta que este 24 de Diciembre, se cumplieron 5 años desde que empecé mi blog! Fueron 5 años bloggeando sin parar en los que aprendí un montón y en verdad me cambio la vida! Estas son algunas de las cosas que aprendí hasta ahora, y si alguien me pidiera consejos con su blog ahora, seguramente esto es lo mejor que le podría aconsejar:
Times flies and this 24th of Dicember was my 5th Blogervesary! I spent 5 years blogging non stop, where I learnt a lot! and definetly changed my life... This are 5 things I learnt during this 5 years, and if someone ask me some advices for their blog, this would be the best advices I can give right now:

"Bloggea lo que vivis, y no vivas para blogear"

Y yo todavía estoy luchando con esta... es importante hacer cosas para el blog, pero al menos mi blog nació como una idea de compartir las cosas que hacía con todos, y me encontré en un momento que esto se invirtió y hacía -para- el blog, no porque quería ni porque había salido de mi, sino que necesitaba postear algo... Creo que los post más genuinos salen de los momentos menos esperados, donde no estamos pensando en que tiene que ser "para el blog".
I'm still battling with this one... is important to do things -for- the blog, but a least my blog was born with the idea to share the staff I made with everyone, and there was a moment where I this situation tumble, and I only made things for the blog and not for myself, just because of the need to post something... I believe the most genuine post come from the most unexpected moments, when we are not thinking about doing it "for the blog"
