Traveling Diary: China

This trip come out from a crazy idea in August and in September, with have everything ready to go to:

We visited so many places, and so many things I could write a million of post about this country! that is why it was so hard to pick just a few photos! but I chose the best of each city!

::BEIJING::
(derecha)

(Some people call it, Pekin) is a classic, this is a city you cant leave without visiting! (above) The Summer Palace, and this complements the garden that the Forbidden City have missing, this place have the longest corridor in the world! and a beautiful marble boat! (right)
The great wall of course! we were lucky and we had a sunny day (:
In Beijing you can also find the Forbidden City, everytime you walk through a passage you come out in a bigger building! is so big! And the tourist guide told us a way to recognize the importance of each building, which I found really cute and neat! You have to count the little statues of the tip roof, the most important have 9 little dragons.

::GUILIN::

Guilin is one of the smallest city we have visited in this trip, but is where we have taken more photos and made the best memories! Guilin is pure nature, (nothing of shopping here) We went to visit a rice field, the landscape seens unreal, the mountain were just like the one I used to draw when I was little!

Then we visited the Reed Flute Cave, I swear I didnt edit the photo! everything is natural!! is really amazing! Moreover it has really nice there because the atmosphere was fresh (and outside was really hot!)
We also went in a cruise trough a series of small lakes and each one have their own bridge (which was really cute as the lake was small the bridge was really small too!) And here they showed us how the fishermen use the birds (it was a special one, I dont remember the name...) to catch the fish, it was really cruel, I didnt like it...
And this is one of the thing you cant not do! the cruise in Li River, because the landscape of this river appear in the billet of 20! and this the exact part where the photo was taken (this is where the people search desperatly for their billet to compare lol)
And here is the billet, if not you wont believe me lol (the fisherman was tired of posing and left lol)

::SHANGHAI::
The goverment of Shanghai pay for all the lights in the city (how cool is that!?) so all the buildings put as much light as they want, so at night this city is like a show of lights!
We also went to see some traditional things, like how the silk is made, and we also tried different teas for mediical uses (all of them were awful but they are good for your health :P that is what they told us lol)

The hotel of Shanghai was the prettiest! Is call Renaissance, and look at this chandelier!!! it was way prettier in person!

::XIAN::
In Xian we went to see the famous: Terracotta Army, although I saw it a thousand times in the tv, is incredible breath taking, so big! and each soldier, have so many details!

Hope you like it! I am working in the part 2!!
Love,
Agus
